Our Teachers
Ms. Brown
Hello, my name is Ms. Tara Brown, and I am a first grade teacher at Talbott Springs Elementary School. I am also, the Team Leader!! This is my 5th year at Talbott and I’m excited about the school year. We have an amazing team of first grade teachers and your child will love all the learning that will take place throughout the year. I have four children and three grandchildren, so teaching children has been a part of my life for decades. My youngest son attends Talbott. He is in the third grade. The first grade motto is, “Learning is Funtastic!!!” Have an enjoyable year and I look forward to educating your child.

I have been teaching for thirteen years. I live in Fulton, Maryland with my three children. I love to travel, and spend time with my family.
Ms. Morrisey
Hello Everyone!
My name is Noel Morrisey. I am a first grade teacher at Talbott Springs Elementary. I enjoy working with children and helping them reach for their dreams through their education. I believe every child should be valued and treated with respect. An education should empower a child and help him or her make a positive contribution to our world. Before coming to Talbott Springs, I was a student at Stevenson University, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education in 2010. When I’m not in school, I spend my free-time shopping, bowling, watching movies, traveling, cooking, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with my family and friends. I’m also a HUGE Ravens Fan!
I look forward to getting to know all of you this school year!

I have a 10-year-old male Chow named Sheldon. Through compassion and dedication, I believe children are the most important people in this school. At the end of this school year, I will be retiring from teaching. This chapter in my life will be ending and a new one will begin.
